Culinary Genius
There I was...There I was....one night last week wondering what I was going to cook for dinner?!
This is a question that most single men ponder almost as much as sex during those minute leading up to walking into the kitchen and combing the cabinets & frig foraging for food.
A few days earlier I had visited my regular haunt, the 99 Cent Only store, where I pick up my regular staple of flour tortillas & Polska Kielbasa. This time I finally decide to pickup a pack of Turkey bacon that they had been carrying for awhile now. What the heck, let's give it a try, it's only $0.99. So, I grabbed a pack and as I was snagging some Turkey bacon I noticed an old favorite: Cheese Whiz. I used to bring a jar with me to work and put it on my hotdogs & pretzel at lunch time. I snagged a bottle and told myself I would find something to put the Cheese Whiz on.
On the previous weekend, I had a craving for my childhood breakfast of lox & bagles (thanks to mom & dad and our camping trips to our cabin).
So, there I was...there I was - left over bagels (sitting on the counter), a bottle of cheese whiz (staring at me from the middle of the refrigerator) and turkey bacon (in the meet drawer of the frig - guys always have to double/triple check to see what kind of meat they have available to cook). And then it happened, bagels are like pretzels, cheeze whiz goes with pretzels and bacon on a sandwich or with cheese is always a plus.
Satisfaction was achieve with my toasted egg bagel with melted cheese whiz and turkey bacon - I do not recommend this on a daily basis, but wowser once in awhile.
